Peer Center Golf Tournament
Mount Rogers Community Services is hosting a fundraising golf tournament at Blue Ridge Country Club in Galax to support the operation of Mount Rogers Community Services’ Peer Wellness Center in Galax. Join us on Friday, September 19th at noon at 211 Blue Ridge Country Club Ln in Galax. A Peer Center is a drop-in facility for people in all stages of recovery that encourages participation in support groups and positive social activities while providing supportive resources.
What is a Peer Center?
- A safe space for people in all stages of recovery from substance use and mental health conditions.
- Staffed by Peer Support Specialists who are in recovery.
- A drop-in center with a food pantry, exercise room, laundry, and other convenient amenities to encourage participation in support groups and positive social activities.
- Fosters a recovery community where individuals in all stages of mental health and substance use recovery can share their experiences and help each other on the road to recovery.

Mount Rogers is seeking both 4-person Captain’s Choice Teams and Event Sponsors for this event. If you would like to register a team, select Captain’s Choice Team ($600) on the donation form below. If you would like to sponsor the event, but do not want to register a team, you can select any of the other donation options.
