Title VI Nondiscrimination
Mount Rogers Industrial and Development Center (IDC) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of its transit services on the basis of race, color or national origin, as protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Title VI requires that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which Mount Rogers IDC receives Federal financial assistance.
ADA
Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities in the provision of services, programs, or activities. Mount Rogers IDC does not discriminate on the basis of disability and/or as further defined in the MRCS ADA Accommodation Procedure (see link below) in its hiring or employment practices and complies with all regulations promulgated by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under Title II of the ADA.
